• Silver-Coated Sub-10 Micron Particles

Conductive adhesives are being used in many applications where the layer thickness is less than 10 microns. This is where sub-10 micron particles are necessary.

In addition, small particle fillers are also used in molded silicone where wall thicknesses are very narrow. Due to their high surface area, they tend to stay inside the silicone without leaving stray particles clinging to the outside of the molded parts.

Applications:

  • Conductive inks
  • Conductive adhesives
  • Partial replacement of pure silver powder

Advantages:

  • Good conductivity
  • Possible blends/ replacement of 100% pure silver
  • Silver/glass has one third the density of pure silver
  • Narrow particle size distribution
