Silver-Coated Ferrite Particles

Silver-coated ferrite offers the EMI shielding benefits of silver/nickel or nickel/graphite due to the ferromagnetic core. In comparison to nickel/graphite, it is more conductive.

And with a density that is less than silver/nickel, the weight percent loading in a composite to achieve the same conductivity reduced. The size distribution of the silver/ferrite particles is narrower than that of silver/nickel as well, making it a good candidate for conductive tapes.

Applications:

• EMI shielding
• Conductive adhesives
• Z-axis conductive films

• Alternative to nickel when needed
