Hart Focus on EMC Sector

Electrically Conductive GasketsAs the electronics industry has expanded at an astounding rate over the last 30 years, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) has grown into an increasingly important sub-sector.

In fact, the global value of this sector was reported to be $6.47 billion in 2016 and is predicted to rise by 7% each year, to a staggering $10.45 billion by 2023.

Hart Materials has been active in the shielding market for over 35 years, supplying nickel-based materials and, more recently, silver-coated particles.

Applications served by Hart include both aspects of shielding technology – conductive pigments that are incorporated into paint coatings and conductive gasket manufacture.

To reflect the growth of the sector, Hart Materials has launched a new electromagnetic shielding section on the company website, which includes:

Managing Director, Dr. Tony Hart, comments: “There have been significant changes in the industry over the years and our aim is to provide the latest information for visitors to our website.”

“We have also made great strides to optimise our response system, ensuring we reply to enquiries that come in via the website quickly and determine specific requirements accurately,” he concludes.
