This is an exceptionally pure nickel powder (99.8%) manufactured by the nickel-carbonyl gaseous refining process. It is composed of discrete nickel particles with a closely controlled and reproducible size distribution.

Type 123 nickel powder has been used for over 75 years and, during this time, established a reputation for consistency and reliability. Uses include powder metallurgical applications, metal binder for cutting tools, the manufacture of nickel catalysts and high purity nickel salts.
