This alternative grade of Nickel-Coated Graphite is also used in electronic industry applications such as shielding.
This grade has a smaller particle size range than the 60% products yet still exhibits consistency of properties and a high level of metal surface coverage of the substrate.
As with the 60% product, the other vital properties of the composite materials, such as hardness and compressibility, can be met consistently. It also exhibits good compatibility with most of the resin systems into which it is regularly incorporated.
The smaller particle size of this grade makes it eminently suitable for form-in-place technology and also for the extrusion of small diameter tubes or cord.
