PI-KEM, a leading small business supplying advanced materials and equipment to commercial, R&D and academic customers, have announced the acquisition of Hart Materials. PI-KEM is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and this purchase allows them to build on their current product offering and diversify into new areas.
Colin Rouse, Managing Director, comments; “In what is a new chapter for both businesses, Hart Materials will benefit from partnership with a company that has the same high level of commitment to their customers. As a company, PI-KEM pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and technical expertise through our dynamic sales team led by qualified scientists and engineers. The focus will be to work in partnership with customers, supporting their business both in terms of value and customer service, so they can achieve their strategic goals.”
Now co-located with PI-KEM in Tamworth, Hart Materials will have enhanced resources with new Director’s, a larger sales team and a designated logistics department, all of whom are experienced in international sales and supporting a global customer base.
Originally established in 1981 by Dr Tony Hart, Hart Materials has been supplying high performance metals, metallic composite products and chemicals for advanced technology applications across a diverse range of industries. Dr Hart had taken the decision to retire and PI-KEM are looking forward to continuing his work.
